The ponds are home to largemouth bass, sunfish, catfish, and turtles. A protected trout stream runs along the northern side of the property. Ground cover includes trees, brush, and cattails. Every two years or so, beavers invade the property from Fall Creek, which runs along the opposite side of the Groton City Road.
